New mixed flow fan with improved acoustic and air performance
The new compact mixed flow fan in size 200 comes as "Plug & Play" unit and has been specially designed to meet specifications in IT/Telecom as well as industrial applications.
New mixed flow fan in size 200Compared to its predecessor, this new fan has been markedly optimised in terms of noise and air performance. The mixed flow fan as such is available in combination with either an AC motor and integrated capacitor or with an EC motor and integrated electronics for up to 400W. Depending on the type of motor used, airflows of more than 1,000 m³/h at backpressures of about 320 Pa can be realised.
If EC technology is opted for, there are even more benefits to be reaped with this fan, such as high efficiency, compact design, long service life and easy controllability. With the EC fan, motor speed is easily set via control interface. Thus, adjusting performance to actual demand is no problem and can be done at great comfort.
The new K1G200 respectively K3G200 is available in two voltage designs, i.e. 24VDC / 48VDC with different power grading. For the next stage of extension, line-fed types are also planned. Alternatively to the EC motor, there are AC motor designs in 115V/60Hz and 230V 50Hz single-phase, as well as three-phase 400V 50/60Hz designs.
The mixed flow fan is available in series as of early/mid-2009, together with optional accessories such as guard grille or temperature control module. It will be offered in IP 20 as standard version, and optionally also in IP 44. All established approvals, i.e. VDE, UL, CSA, CCC and Ghost have been applied for.
