Quiet and reliable output in restricted space - Fans and motors for wooden-pellet heating systems and wooden-chip ovens

As an ecologically favourable alternative to the classic oil- or gas-operated heating systems, the use of solid-matter heating systems - precisely in view of the energy price development - is becoming increasingly attractive. For this area of application, ebm-papst, the leading manufacturer in the field of motors and fans, offers suitable gearmotors for feed screws, quiet air-supply fans and tailored waste air fans for waste gas transport.

By means of ebm-papst gearmotors, for all installations the pellets are automatically conveyed to the supply hopper and from there into the combustion chamber. They are impressive on account of the very good running smoothness through the use of helical gears in the input stage. The optimum materials, according to the application, are used to make the gears. The use of heavy-duty lubricant greases ensures a service life of 5,000 to 40,000 operating hours, depending on application.

The AC and EC radial blowers for supply air are quiet and efficient. The blowers optionally have a speed output for exact regulation according to operating mode. The scroll housing is made of robust die-cast aluminium, the impeller of hot-galvanised sheet steel, to ensure a high degree of stability and durability.

For removal of the exhaust air, ebm-papst induced-draft blowers in AC or preferably in EC technology are used. These blowers are highly rated on account of their reliability, robust design and long service life.

Manufacturers of solid-matter heating systems can have recourse to complete solutions from a single source. Motors and fans developed specifically for the respective area of application meet the highest demands with regard to service life, noise and cost-effectiveness.
